Western Isles parliament call for more ferry routes

Angus MacNeil and Alasdair Allan, MP and MSP for Na h-Eileanan an Iar, have today called on Transport Minister, Stewart Stevenson MSP, to ensure that more than one ferry route from the mainland to the Western Isles benefits from Road Equivalent Tariff.

Mr. Allan said "The Finance Secretary, John Swinney MSP, announced last year that one or more routes would benefit from the SNP's fare slashing policy.
