UN secretary-general addresses the IMO

 IMO logo2“More needs to be done” to “deal with pollution and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from ships”, believes UN secretary-general Ban Ki-moon.

He was speaking yesterday evening at the IMO to mark the organisation’s 100th Council meeting this week and commended the organisation’s “laudable work” done so far to reduce emissions.
