Second RoRo terminal mooted for Irish crossing

The Port of Liverpool continues to hold a dominant position on the Irish Sea, with an estimated 40% share of unitised trade crossing to Ireland.

RoRo volumes are such that plans for a second in-river RoRo terminal now look more likely to turn into reality.

Norfolkline operates its day and night sailings to both Dublin and Belfast out of the in-river Twelve Quays terminal at Birkenhead.
