Kent seeks compensation from France

While progress is being made on resolving the SeaFrance dispute involving its ship’s officers a return to work is not in prospect yet, and Kent County Couincil wants compensation for financial losses. In the meantime the traffic disruption in Kent and in particular on the M20 with Operation Stack being active, Kent County Council wants to secure compensation from the French government, which owns SeaFrance.
