The Danish tonnage tax act passed by the country's parliament last month has the approval of shipowners in the country. "The Danish tonnage tax regime – including the level of taxation – is competitive and similar to the regimes already incorporated in the Netherlands, the UK, Germany etc," the Danish Shipowners' Association (DSA) said in a statement.
