Cannon fires back at BC Ferries

Canada’s federal transport minister has insisted that the country’s ferry operators already have the necessary authority to conduct random drug and alcohol tests on employees. Lawrence Cannon called on BC Ferries to get on with the job after David Hahn, president of the ferry corporation, asked Ottawa for new powers and said its policy on drug testing needs clarification.
