Some Marlborough Sounds residents are furious the Interisland Line's new ferry Kaitaki has been able to travel at 20 knots in Tory Channel and Queen Charlotte Sound.
Jacksons Bay resident Dennis McManaway said he was "wild and angry" that wash from Kaitaki threw "rubbish" on to the front lawn of his Tory Channel property on Wednesday afternoon.
