Scottish minister challenged on ferry

Scotland's transport minister has been questioned about plans for ferry operations two months before the Rosyth-Zeebrugge ferry service ends. During a debate about the service, Stewart Stevenson expressed strong hopes that a new operator would be found for the service which stops on 12 September. The minister said several ferry companies had been approached, and the ministry is working closely with Forth Ports, the owner of the Rosyth ferry terminal, to find an alternative.
