P&O beefs up its Tilbury service

P&O group logoThe growing unaccompanied freight market between the continent and the River Thames is being targeted by P&O Ferries with a second ship for its Tilbury-Zeebrugge service.

The company added a second freight RoRo on to the route in mid-September with the deployment of the chartered Hoburgen.

With deck space for 82 freight vehicles, P&O Ferries now has annual capacity on the route of more than 100,000 units.
