French ports were hit by a new day of strike action yesterday as port authority workers continued the campaign they began in mid-April against the privatisation of cargo terminals provided for by the government’s national port reform plan.
Marseilles, Le Havre, Nantes, Rouen and Bordeaux were all hit by different forms of action by workers.
