Cyprus and its Arab neighbours have struck three maritime agreements. First up is an agreement on Maritime Search and Rescue has been signed by Cyprus and Lebanon, official Cypriot sources report. Cypriot Minister of Foreign Affairs Erato Kozakou-Marcoullis said the agreement is the first of its kind that Cyprus has signed with a neighbouring country and described it as an important humanitarian issue.
