Cork port refused planning approval for new terminal

Ireland's Port of Cork has been refused planning approval for a €160m ($253m) container terminal and RoRo berth at Ringaskiddy, which would have added 400,000 teu in annual capacity. Local residents had opposed the development, along with the rival port at Waterford.
