PM cleared over Sea Malta charge

Malta's prime minister, Dr Lawrence Gonzi, was “within context” in December 2005 when he accused General Workers Union secretary general Tony Zarb of being responsible for the loss of 144 jobs at Sea Malta. The ruling came yesterday from magistrate Michael Mallia, who was presiding over a lawsuit brought by Zarb against Gonzi.
