Ingves steps up at Birka Line

Birka Line, the Finnish freight ro-ro and passenger shipping group, has appointed Anders Ingves as the new MD with effect from 1 September. He will succeed Wiking Johansson, who will retire. Ingves joins the shipping group from Alandsbanken, the bank based in Finland's Åland Islands. He has held posts in business development and marketing.
