The new president of the Genoa Port Authority, Luigi Merlo – who was appointed last Thursday – has written a letter to the top management at PSA VTE highlighting the damage caused to the transport system by the protracted crisis in operations at Voltri container terminal. Export of containers is still forbidden as the terminal waits for the new IT system Cosmos to be implemented.
