EUROTUNNEL [LSE: ETL] has appointed Jean-Pierre Trotignon to the newly created post of Chief Operating Officer (COO) with effect from 17 August 2005. He assumes responsibility for the Infrastructure, Shuttle, Freight Commercial, Passenger Commercial, Purchasing and HR Divisions
Jean-Pierre Trotignon (54) is a graduate of the lĀ'Ecole Polytechnique and also holds a Master of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley.
