Good performance of its freight shipping business offset challenges in the cruise ferry operations of DFDS, the listed Danish ferry group, which reported a 3Q07 net profit of DK259M ($51.3M), slightly better than the DK236M in the same period last year. The DFDS Tor Line freight shipping business increased EBITDA by 23% to DK870M as freight rates and volumes held up well in roro shipping.
