Baltic ferry operator Scandlines is to cut its onshore workforce by 100, or around 4% of group staff, writes Katrin Berkenkopf in Cologne.
A group spokesman underlined that this did not mean any dismissals will take place. Rather, the reduction should happen through measures such as early retirement. The move is aimed at reducing double staffing, which existed because of the historic structure of the group.
