Hellenic helps lift Minoan profit

Greek ferry operator Minoan Lines increased its profit in the January to September period this year even though overall company revenue fell.

Crete-based Minoan reported a group net profit of E26.3m for the nine months to September 30, up by around 49% from E17.6m in the same period last year, after its one third-owned affiliate Hellenic Seaways saw net profit rise by almost 86% to E34.6m.
