Fanfare for Britanny Ferries’ great white hope

Brittany Ferries logoFrench ferry operator Britanny Ferries has brought into service the vessel that carries its hopes of taking a bigger share of the English Channel freight market, writes Andrew Spurrier.

The 165 m long Contentin, which was officially named in Cherbourg this week, is billed by the company as the biggest and fastest dedicated freight ferry on the Channel.
