Class societies named after raids

Several leading classification societies have confirmed they were raided today by corporate watchdogs in Europe as part of an investigation into possible collusion to distort the classification market. Although the European Commission would not name the societies concerned, Bureau Veritas, DNV and Lloyd’s Register have confirmed their premises were visited.
