Clarksons settled in the case brought against it by Sovcomflot and Novoship. The claimants were seeking $67m in damages in London’s High Court, causing Clarkson in April to raise provisions made in its annual accounts to £14m ($28m). The Russian companies had claimed that new evidence had come to light.
