After a traumatic first year in its Channel Island to France fast ferry services, HD Ferries plans to start its second season on March 20. The company will resume its daily Jersey/Guernsey-St Malo/Cherbourg services on that date. In a bid to try and prevent the troubles it had in 2007, its ferry HD1 is undergoing repairs and an upgrade in Portsmouth.
