Hawaii Superferry’s Alakai will be pulled from service tomorrow for a two-week drydocking, yet another setback for the islands’ shrinking passenger ship sector. After surviving last year’s legal battle with environmentalists, the Alakai has cancelled a dozen voyages since its delayed start-up in December because of rough sea conditions. Service was again cancelled yesterday.
