Hawaii fears ferry ruling fallout

 The Hawaii Department of Transportation has warned that Hawaii Superferry's state Supreme Court loss could have broader port implications. On 23 August, the Supreme Court ruled that an environmental assessment was required for Hawaii Superferry's improvements at state harbours, overturning an earlier decision by the Circuit Court allowing a waiver.
