Princess of the Stars (sunken vessel)Phillipine policy on the movement of domestic ships during bad weather today became the main point of contention on the first day of investigation of the Princess of the Stars disaster.  

Appearing before the Philippine Coast Guard’s Board of Marine Inquiry (BMI), Princess of the Stars operator Sulpicio Lines appeared to have been operating under an outdated circular in relation to weather policy.
