Maritime authorities in the Philippines have confirmed that they are forcing Sulpicio Lines to refloat the capsized Princess of the Stars to retrieve its hazardous cargo of pesticide.
The Transport Department endorsed the move after the salvage team hired by Sulpicio abandoned its plan to drill holes into the hull and recover the boxed cargo of Endosulfan.
