The largest ever freight-only ferry built for English Channel trade has arrived at Cherbourg, where it will be delivered next Monday. Brittany Ferries’ Cotentin, named after a part of Normandy, will make its maiden voyage between Cherbourg and Poole in Britain next Tuesday. At weekends it will sail between Poole and Santander, Northern Spain.
