Seafarers employed by the French Mediterranean ferry operator SNCM ended their two-day-old occupation of the SeaFrance Molière on Friday afternoon after being condemned for “piracy” by a court in Marseilles.

The SNCM seafarers took over the vessel on Wednesday, the day after it had been handed over to SeaFrance in Marseilles by SNCM parent Veolia Transport.
