The 1974-built Vikingland was in operation for FRS since 1979, but has been laid up over the last two years. The ferry was handed over to the new owners on 3 January, and will embark on her delivery voyage on 20 January.
Vikingland's new owner is the Italian oil-group SAIPEM.
