USCG buoy tender collides with ferry

A Coast Guard buoy tender collided with a passenger ferry off Block Island in Long Island Sound yesterday, but only minor damage was reported and no injuries or pollution were reported. 

The incident occurred at about 12:15 in heavy fog some three nm north of Block Island, Petty Officer Connie Terrell reports.
