Three die in Thai ferry disaster

Three passengers died when a crowded ferry sank in the Gulf of Thailand, off Samut Prakan province yesterday. A total of 31 teachers and students were rescued and search teams have also recovered the three bodies. A Thai embassy official in Singapore, in confirming the mishap to Fairplay, said the three were students of Chulangkorn University holidaying with teachers.
