Sea motorways deal for Italy, Spain

Italy’s and Spain’s prime ministers, Romano Prodi and Josè Luis Rodriguez Zapatero, have signed an agreement to develop a common policy on many economic issues during a summit at the Royal Palace in Naples. The intent includes co-operation in the power sector, telecommunications and the so called ‘sea motorways’ linking the Tyrrhenian coast to Spain, together with the problem of migratory flows, which cause great concern in both countries.
