Norwegian ferry operators to merge

Fjordline logoTwo small Norwegian ferry companies that operate in the western and southern parts of the country plan to merge and go public. The private owners of Fjord Line and Master Ferries have agreed to a merger, in which the former acquires the latter. Fjord Line’s owners plan to list the merged company on the Oslo Stock Exchange in 2009.
