Mitsui OSK Lines (MOL) has announced the merger of its domestic ferry subsidiaries Diamond Ferry and Blue Highway Line West Japan. The two companies had been operating under the same management since a business tie-up in 2001 and will take the name Diamond Ferry, reflecting the size of the larger partner which is 93% owned by MOL.
