India bites back at steel price

The Steel Authority of India (SAIL) and Shipping Corp of India have formed a joint venture company to cut the cost of steel production.  The aim is primarily to offer SAIL shipping services for the import of coking coal to its steel manufacturing units, but the jv could also join the worldwide dry bulk shipping trade.
