More than 400 passengers were reportedly evacuated after their ferries hit underwater coral reefs in the seas around Sulawesi. Antara news reports quoted Roki Asikin, chief of Southeast Sulawesi’s provincial rescue office as saying, “We have evacuated 420 passengers out of all 450 passengers aboard the two ferries which hit reefs this morning.” There were no casualties, Asikin said.
