Washington State Ferries has selected online auction site eBay to sell two of its unused ferries, the Snohomish and the Chinook. Tim McGuigan, Legal Services and Contracts Director for the ferry operator, told Fairplay that the two vessels are high-speed passenger ferries that went into service in 1997/1999. Each has a speed of 30kt and is capable of carrying 350 passengers.
