MAN Diesel in engine ‘milestone’

MAN Diesel, the German/Danish marine engine maker, is relaunching its portfolio of engine types, with all marine units capable of meeting the proposed International Maritime Organization tier II limits for NOx emissions.

It is one of the largest revamps of its product range the company has ever done and comes ahead of the January 2011 implementation date of the new NOx emission limits.
