Wärtsilä, the Finnish engine and propulsion system supplier, has signed a contract for the extensive refit of a Norwegian ferry. The €9.5M ($14M) contract is for work on Kystlink’s 1993-built Pride of Telemark. It includes the installation of new electronic systems, servicing of five auxiliary engines and two main engines plus supplying and fitting new interiors to 31 cabins.
