Wartsila logo Wärtsilä is putting pressure on the Dutch government to relax its policy on immigration. Fred van Beers, MD of Wärtsilä, told Fairplay yesterday that it takes too long to get quality people into the country and hence into the wider shipping industry. For this reason the power company is putting pressure on the government to review its immigration policy.
