Guangzhou wins $300m RoRo contracts

Guangzhou Shipyard International has won two contracts worth a combined Yuan2.1bn ($300.5m) from China Shipping Passenger Liner Co and its joint venture company China Shipping Gang Lian Maritime Co, for four RoRo passenger vessels, writes Keith Wallis in Hong Kong.

The shipyard, based in southern China, said the first ship will be delivered in 2010 and the final vessel handed over in 2012.
