Aker Yards, the biggest shipbuilding company in Europe, has taken a second financial hit in five months over ferry building in Finland. The company has also been forced to consider selling its Offshore & Specialist Vessel business unit to raise desperately needed cash (“enhance shareholder values” in the company’s words).
