Aker sells equipment interests

Aker ASA has sold off two marine equipment subsidiaries to the Norwegian technology group ODIM, according to a report in the Nordic Business Report. The two companies are ABAS Crane and Aker Brattvaag Winch, and the combined sale of the two amounts to NK80M ($15M). ABAS Crane, which is based in Aukra, manufactures and designs specialised cranes and lifting gear for ships and offshore installations.
